BLM Draft Resource Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement
Public Comment Information
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is revising their Resource Management Plan (land use plan) for the Big Horn Basin. This plan will direct management on 3.2 million acres of BLM lands for the next 20 years. These are YOUR public lands!
The Cooperating Agencies (Local County Governments and Conservation Districts of the Big Horn Basin) need your input to best understand your way of life on your public lands. The Cooperating Agencies want to know where your interests lie in order to best serve you and your community throughout the planning process. Comments are due September 7, 2011.
There are two options to comment on the document:
- Click on the link below to comment through our consultant, Ecosystem Research Group (ERG). Your comment will be sent directly to the BLM unfiltered and also be reviewed by the Local Government Cooperating Agencies.
- Clink on the link below to comment directly through the BLM. This link has the most current RMP Informaiton as well.
