Felony Criminal Cases
Criminal Cases are those brought by the state where there is an allegation that a crime has been committed against the community at large. Only felony cases are filed in District Court. Felonies are crimes that may be punished by death or by imprisonment for more than one (1) year. In 2006, there were 76 new felony cases filed.
