Q. Where do I get license plates?
A. 1. Do your title work at the County Clerk’s Office. 2. Pay the sales tax at
the Treasurer’s office. Pick up your license plates and registration. 3. Bring your receipt to the Clerk’s office and pick up your title.
Q. Where do I pay a ticket?
A. Municipal fines are paid at City Hall, 1338 Rumsey Ave, Cody M-F 8-5
A. Circuit Court fines are paid at the Courthouse 1002 Sheridan Ave, Cody
Directions: The Circuit Court Clerk is at top of the stairs in the Original Courthouse, Room 206 M-F 8-5
Q. Where do I go to court?
A. There are two courtrooms in the Courthouse.
Directions: Municipal Court & Circuit Court are in the Original Courthouse
Courtroom: 2nd floor. From the Sheridan Avenue entrance go up 2 flights of stairs. Elevator – 2R.
District Court Courtroom: 2nd floor Courthouse Addition.
From the Sheridan Avenue entrance go up 2 flights of stairs & down the hall
iIt is on the right. Elevator - 2F.
Q. Where may I register to vote or make changes to my voter registration?
A. The elections office. Party affiliation change, lapsed registrations and name changes require a signature on a new application, witnessed by a registry agent. To update your address call 527-8620 or 754-8620
Directions: Ground floor of the Courthouse Addition between the Clerk and Treasurer office. Registry agents are also available in Powell (754-5106) & Meeteetse (868-2278) Town Halls

A. In the original Courthouse basement
