Flu Announcement

The Cody office for Park County Public Health is now out of adult flu vaccine. There is a small amount of adult flu vaccine remaining at the Park County Annex in Powell. The Cody office will be unable to provide adult flu vaccine through the remainder of the flu season. Walmart, Walgreen’s, Albertson’s Pharmacy and Shopko in Powell are all other locations to obtain a flu shot. You may also contact your family physician.

Public Health will continue to have flu shots available for children of low income or underinsured families provided through the Wyoming Vaccinates Important People program (WyVIP).

Always remember to cover your cough or sneeze with your arm or a tissue. Wash your hands frequently through the day or use alcohol based hand cleaners frequently. If you have a fever, body aches and associated flu symptoms, stay home and protect your co-workers. Avoid shaking hands if you are ill. All these are important steps in preventing the spread of germs and disease.

Park County Public Health is jointly funded by Park County and the Wyoming Department of Health and is licensed by the State of Wyoming.
