NOTICE OF TV TRANSLATOR SHUTDOWN
January 21, 2010
As previously announced, Park County has been attempting to migrate TV translator operations over to network broadcasters. Due to Federal Communication Commission Regulations it has become necessary to shut down the following television translators:
- Cedar Mountain – Channel 3 – KTVQ/CBS
- Ghost Creek – Channel 8 – KULR/NBC
The shutdown of these translators is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2010. It is Park County’s hope these translators will become operational again under the control of the network broadcasters.
