Landfill Procedures

  1. All vehicles are required to register with the Landfill Gate Attendant to receive delivery instructions for every load. Our disposal areas change from time to time, making it essential for each vehicle/load to stop for instructions.

  2. Please follow the gate attendant's instructions. If you have a question please ask or obtain help from one of the site employees. Please don't assume, operations at the facilities change often.

  3. During inclement weather please call to make sure areas of disposal are open.

  4. Motor vehicles are accepted but all the liquids must be drained from the vehicle.

  5. All waste brought to the landfill must be secured, covered or in a closed container. Any load arriving at any landfill gate not properly covered or secured in a manner to prevent loss of the waste material along the delivery route will be subject to a $25 surcharge or refusal to accept material for disposal.

  6. Contractors hauling building construction or demolition wastes are encouraged to negotiate a per trip rate for each of their vehicles and set up a billing account prior to their first delivery.

  7. It is unlawful to scavenge or salvage without written approval.

  8. Landfills will be closed on the following holidays: 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Memorial Day.
