Department Functions & Services
Park County Youth Services serves Park County Circuit Court, Cody Municipal Court, and Powell Municipal Court. Youth Services’ staff consists of two full-time employees, one stationed in Cody and the other in Powell. Youth Services supervises delinquent juveniles and identifies at risk juveniles. Our program attempts to keep juveniles out of jail by monitoring juveniles and making sure they comply with court orders.
Park County Youth Services stays current in the ever-changing aspect of teenage drug & alcohol use. We are a resource to teenagers, parents, counselors, and schools. The goal of Youth Services is to deter juveniles from becoming adult offenders by educating them of the inevitable consequences of their actions when breaking the law.
